The Union government has re-appointed Solicitor General Tushar Mehta for a further period of three years on 21 June 2026. According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel Training stated that Mehtas fresh term will take effect from July 1, 2026.
